All day: Taste of the Wild CampJuly 23, 2021 All day Location: Pioneer Ridge Nature Area, Cost: $30 / per camp, Suitable for children ages 7 -14. Registration is required by calling 641-682-3091. Limit of 8 campers. Crickets & worms & beetles, oh my! Come taste the wild with Naturalist Faith for this half-day camp. Participants will get to learn about some common wild edibles on a hike, try some “field snacks” and then help make a meal using insects, flowers, leaves and other wild ingredients. Lunch will be included with this camp. Participants are required to have an open mind and willingness to try something new!
