Free Fish Weekend @ Pioneer Ridge
Each year, the first weekend of June is designated as Free Fishing Weekend in Iowa. This weekend allows all Iowa residents to fish without a license or trout fee. Join Naturalist Faith to learn fish identification, rules and regulations and fishing techniques. Then participants will get the opportunity to try their own luck at one of our ponds on site! We will provide fishing gear and bait but feel free to bring your own pole. Registration is required by calling Pioneer Ridge Nature Center at 641-682-3091.
