A holiday weekend is a great time to get your family outdoors. We will lead a creek stomp at Pioneer Ridge Nature Area on May 26 from 9:00 – 11:00 AM. We will learn what lives in the water in these drainage creeks by flipping over rocks and using field microscopes to look a little deeper. We will also search for signs left by other animals that have visited the creeks. Wear shoes and clothes that can get muddy and wet as we will be in the creek. No registration is required for this event. Meet at the nature center by 9:00 to do a little creek stomping!
